I made it to the final round of the Saucy Mama Sliced Recipe contest. The top 10 finalists had to make a dessert with mustard and beer. My dessert was so much better than I expected it to be. I made it twice, brought it to work both times and it was devoured.
It’s proof that dark beer, pretzels and mustard really do go well together. Add chocolate and toffee and what could be better?
Well, the Peach Galette with Butterscotch Schnapps Glaze from Juanita’s Cocina apparently was. She took the title of Grand Champion and $1,000.
