BLT All Grown Up from ZestuousBrown Sugar Chili Bacon, Caramelized Balsamic Onions, goat cheese, lettuce and tomato piled high on homemade bread ~ this is a grown up BLT. Well, actually I guess it would be a BOGLT. Yeah I like the sound of that ~ a boggle-tee.

I’ve been dreaming about this sandwich for a few days now. Crispy, sweet bacon; tender, sweet and sour onions; creamy goat cheese on a yeasty bread, what could be wrong with that?

When I carried a sandwich out to my husband in the garage and described the ingredients, he said, “Yuck!” Next thing I knew the plate was empty and he was caught licking his fingers. Ha ha ~ he was captivated by the BOGLT.

I think you will be, too. Bon appétit!
