Are you throwing a cocktail party for St. Patty’s Day? If so, these cute little triangles are the perfect appetizer to accompany your little green dress. They pack traditional corned beef brisket into a dainty bite, so you can go light on the food, saving room for the green beer.
The brisket is the only part of this app that’s Irish though. It’s made with German bread, Swiss cheese and French mustard. So travel the world you jet setter you.
Corned Beef Triangles
- Corned beef brisket
- pumpernickel bread
- French Dijon mustard
- Swiss cheese
- Butter one slice of bread and place it on the counter buttered side up. Add shredded corned beef brisket on top. Add two one-inch slices of cheese on top. Spread mustard on the top slice of bread and layer it on, mustard side down. Spread butter on the outer part of the top slice of bread.
- Slice the sandwich into a triangle and secure with a toothpick. Place on a baking sheet. Bake the triangles at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
