Nothing says Christmas like candy canes. This simple syrup amps up the holiday favorite for adults. It’s best mixed with vodka, rum or gin.
Candy Cane Simple Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 ½ cups water
- 10 small candy canes

- Place all ingredients into a saucepot and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. If you want more intense flavors and color, you can let the mixture cool for 30 minutes.
