Buffalo Ranch Party Bread

Buffalo Ranch Party Bread from Zestuous

It’s almost Super Bowl Sunday, which in my house means lunch and dinner will consist of sinfully delicious party food like this Buffalo Ranch Party Bread.

We love buffalo wings, but firing up the deep fryer can be so messy, and baked hot wings just don’t cut it. So to get the flavors of hot wings without all the work, I created this recipe.

It’s made with tender, sweet King’s Hawaiian Bread (which by the way comes in it’s own serving pan) Bonus! No dishes.

The bread is smothered with buffalo wing ranch sauce and stuffed with cheese. When it bakes up, the sauce oozes into the bread and the melty, irresistible cheese holds it all together.

If you’re feeling really wild, you could even add some bleu cheese crumbles on top or some pre-cooked chicken.

I tested this recipe Monday night. My husband and I each grabbed a fork and ate the entire loaf for dinner. I felt a little guilty, but we decided we were just getting our stomachs ready for Sunday. You know, like a pre-food marathon work out.

If you’re having a few people over, you’re going to want to make 2 or 3 of these babies. I promise they’ll go fast.

Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 1-ounce packet ranch dressing seasoning mix
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Leave the bread in its aluminum pan and set it on a foil-lined baking sheet. Using a serrated knife, cut the bread into one-inch slices, but don’t cut all the way through to the bottom. Turn the bread a ¼ turn and cut in slices again, so you have squares.

Combine the cheeses. Gently sprinkle about 1 cup of the cheese mixture into each cut.

In a pitcher, combine the butter, ranch seasoning and wing sauce. Carefully, separate the cuts and pour the sauce into all of the cracks.

Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Cover loosely with foil. (I didn’t do this step, which is why my bread darkened so much) Bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes.

Grab some forks and dig in while it’s hot.
