Easy roast beef sliders
This roast beef sliders recipe is one of my favorite party food recipes. The tender roast beef, melted Swiss cheese and that hint of oniony goodness from the soup mix all come together in these little bites of perfection.
For the roast beef, I recommend springing for high-quality roast beef from the deli counter. Freshly sliced is best. As for the cheese, I chose Swiss cheese, but any type of cheese would work, like provolone cheese or white cheddar cheese.
These sliders are easy to make, great for sharing and the perfect appetizer for any casual get-together. Whether it’s game night, a casual dinner with family, or just a weekend treat, these sliders are a crowd-pleaser.
Plus, they’re so versatile – you can customize them with your favorite toppings or sauces. The best part is that you can assemble them ahead of time and pop them in the oven when you’re ready to get the party started.

Ingredients for roast beef sliders
- King’s Hawaiian Honey Wheat Rolls: These are the buns for our sliders – they’re soft, a bit sweet and just perfect.
- Roast Beef: Use your favorite brand of deli roast beef. You can make your own roast beef if you have the time.
- Swiss Cheese: Melts beautifully on the roast beef, giving our sliders a creamy, nutty kick.
- Melted Butter: We’re brushing this over the rolls for some extra flavor and a nice, golden brown crust.
- Onion Soup Mix: Adds savory onion and herb goodness to make these sliders truly delicious.
Substitutions: If you’re not a fan of Swiss cheese, you can use white cheddar cheese, provolone cheese or any other sliced cheese you like. You can also use regular Hawaiian sweet rolls instead of whole wheat.

How to serve cheesy roast beef sliders
These delicious roast beef and cheese sliders are delicious right out of the oven, but you can eat them at room temperature, too. Lift the foil off of the sandwiches and cut into individual rolls. Serve them on a serving platter for a game day party or as an easy weeknight dinner. Serve alongside some beer-n-brat cheese dip and macaroni and cheese for the ultimate party spread.
